Developing of new methods to forest heritage characterization and management through remote sensing

Conference

This thesis provides remote sensing-based solutions to monitor forests both at landscape and stand scale, focusing on dynamic forest landscapes. In particular methodologies to monitor forest covers and forest disturbances were developed as well as solutions to characterize stands of different tree species.
